The screening and identification process for identifying students gifted in the visual arts includes the following components:

Nomination of the student for screening/assessment in 3rd and 5th grade.

- Evaluation of the student using the Renzulli Artistic Characteristics of Superior Students.
- An evaluation of the student's Display of Work portfolio.
